About our company
George Charlett started arranging funerals from our present premises in Lark Lane in the early nineteen twenties.
He was joined in due course by his son, also named George, who ran the business until his death in 1966. During this period a branch office was opened in Park Road.
After George's death the company was sold to Walter Craven Ltd., another well-established Liverpool funeral business, and they continue to uphold the high standards set by George Charlett.
Our premises are furbished to a high standard and it is our current policy to buy new Limousines and to change them regularly, so ensuring that the quality of our vehicles matches that of our service.
Our staff are available to help you 24 hours a day every day of the year; we are as close as your nearest phone. We offer a full range of pre-payment funeral 
schemes.
Our private Chapels of Rest are open every day
Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 8.00pm.
Saturday: 9.00am - 12.00 noon.
Sunday and Bank Holidays: 10am - 12.00 noon.
